As a Data Scientist Associate Senior at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset & Wealth Management, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining critical data pipelines and architectures across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Supports review of controls to ensure sufficient protection of enterprise data. Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems. Design, train, and fine-tune large language models and LLM agents for various applications.Advises and makes custom configuration changes in one to two tools to generate a product at the business or customer request. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products and services. Conduct research to advance the state-of-the-art in AI and machine learning technologies.Updates logical or physical data models based on new use casesFrequently uses SQL and understands NoSQL databases and their niche in the marketplaceAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceExperience with AI/ML, LLM, Python, AWS. Experience as a Data EngineerExperience with prompt design and implementation or chatbot applicationHands-on with AWS cloud services: Open Search, ECS / EKS Advanced at SQL (e.g., joins and aggregations)Working understanding of NoSQL databasesSignificant experience with statistical data analysis and ability to determine appropriate tools and data patterns to perform analysisExperience customizing changes in a tool to generate product
